Totally Eurovision 2026:
Eurovision Song Contest 2026, finals
Saturday, May 16
I can not watch the finals this year … so you need to do it with this blog!
For the finals I only use text! All the videos can be found below already, so no need to publish them again!
Enjoy your Eurovision Song Contest evening and may the best song win!
LET’S GO!
01 Søren Torpegaard Lund – Før Vi Går Hjem (Denmark) (TOP 3)
Will Denmark win this year’s Eurovision Song Contest?
Not sure… but this song is simply amazing!
And an English version could easily become a worldwide radio hit.
02 Sarah Engels – Fire (Germany) (TOP 10)
Great entertainment for the straight guys watching Eurovision.
But is that enough? The studio version is definitely a summer hit.
For me: Top 10 worthy!
03 Noam Bettan – Michelle (Israel) (TOP 10)
To be clear: I am talking about the song here, NOT the political situation.
This is a very strong track with an excellent singer and strong radio potential.
This will end in the Top 10 anyway, no matter what people think.
04 ESSYLA – Dancing on the Ice (Belgium) (TOP 10)
Oh yeah! Finally a strong entry from Belgium!
This song will end in the Top 10 tonight, but could also reach Top 5 or just land around place 9 or 10.
05 Alis – Nân (Albania) (TOP 10/15)
This song could end up in the Top 10, but it depends heavily on the voting.
Quality does not always win in Eurovision.
06 Akylas – Ferto (Greece) (TOP 10)
Chaotic staging but an amazing song — exactly what I love.
Definitely Top 10 material, but will the public agree?
07 LELÉKA – Ridnym (Ukraine) (TOP 10)
She was amazing on Thursday. I expect Ukraine to end in the Top 10 this year, but not Top 5.
08 Delta Goodrem – Eclipse (Australia) (TOP 3)
I was surprised by Delta Goodrem’s performance.
From “not sure if it qualifies” to “Top 10 worthy”.
Top 5 is possible, but not a win. The song itself is even Top 3 quality.
09 LAVINA – Kraj Mene (Serbia) (NOT GOOD)
No idea why this made it into the final.
This should end at the bottom tonight.
10 AIDAN – Bella (Malta) (TOP 10)
One of the best ballads this evening.
I hope it reaches the Top 10, but I’m not fully sure.
11 Daniel Zizka – CROSSROADS (Czechia) (TOP 15)
Strong song, but it will not reach the Top 10.
Likely around place 15.
12 DARA – Bangaranga (Bulgaria) (TOP 10)
Super radio-friendly and extremely energetic.
A fantastic song — Top 10 worthy, but not quite Top 5.
13 LELEK – Andromeda (Croatia) (TOP 10)
I keep calling this Adiemus vibes, and the LIVE performance was amazing.
This is clearly Top 10 material.
14 LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER – Eins, Zwei, Drei (United Kingdom) (15-24)
Funny and chaotic song.
I’m curious if he will still sing “drei” as “dry” live.
Not Top 10 material… but I do love it.
15 Monroe – Regarde! (France) (TOP 10)
She impressed me LIVE on Thursday.
I now think this will end in the Top 10. The song is even Top 5 quality.
16 Satoshi – Viva, Moldova! (Moldova) (TOP 5)
I did some extra research — they remind me of Manau from Moldova!
Super strong song and also very solid LIVE.
Easily Top 5 worthy!
17 Linda Lampenius x Pete Parkkonen – Liekinheitin (Finland) (TOP 3 / WINNER?)
This could easily be number 1 or 2 this year.
Simply an outstanding song. Anything outside Top 3 would be disappointing. Possible winner!
18 ALICJA – Pray (Poland) (TOP 15/20)
Nice song, especially for younger Eurovision fans.
But I don’t think this will reach the Top 10.
19 Lion Ceccah – Sólo Quiero Más (Lithuania) (NOT GOOD)
Good vocals, but it doesn’t connect emotionally.
Staging is boring and I still don’t understand how this reached the final.
20 FELICIA – My System (Sweden) (NOT GOOD)
They should have sent A-Teens with Iconic.
Sweden will not reach the Top 10 this year. Likely bottom half.
Great studio version, but LIVE it doesn’t work.
21 Antigoni – JALLA (Cyprus) (TOP 15)
The LIVE performance wasn’t great, but the studio version is hot.
Hard to predict what this will do in the final.
22 Sal Da Vinci – Per Sempre Sì (Italy) (TOP 10)
Nice song, strong vocals, a bit classic Eurovision style.
Could land in the Top 10, but also between 10–15.
23 JONAS LOVV – YA YA YA (Norway) (TOP 3 / WINNER?)
This is absolutely Top 3 material for me!
Energy, style, White Stripes vibes… simply amazing.
24 Alexandra Căpitănescu – Choke Me (Romania) (TOP 5)
If she delivers the same LIVE performance again, she could easily reach Top 3.
For sure Top 5 material.
25 COSMÓ – Tanzschein (Austria) (NOT GOOD)
I think that Psy want his gangnam style melody back.
Definitely not a winner — likely bottom of the scoreboard.
ChatGPT thinks that I predict that this will be the results 🙂
01 Søren Torpegaard Lund – Før Vi Går Hjem (Denmark)
02 Linda Lampenius x Pete Parkkonen – Liekinheitin (Finland)
03 JONAS LOVV – YA YA YA (Norway)
04 Alexandra Căpitănescu – Choke Me (Romania)
05 Satoshi – Viva, Moldova! (Moldova)
06 ESSYLA – Dancing on the Ice (Belgium)
07 Monroe – Regarde! (France)
08 Delta Goodrem – Eclipse (Australia)
09 Noam Bettan – Michelle (Israel)
10 Akylas – Ferto (Greece)
11 LELEK – Andromeda (Croatia)
12 LELÉKA – Ridnym (Ukraine)
13 Sarah Engels – Fire (Germany)
14 AIDAN – Bella (Malta)
15 DARA – Bangaranga (Bulgaria)
16 Alis – Nân (Albania)
17 Sal Da Vinci – Per Sempre Sì (Italy)
18 Antigoni – JALLA (Cyprus)
19 Daniel Zizka – CROSSROADS (Czechia)
20 ALICJA – Pray (Poland)
21 LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER – Eins, Zwei, Drei (United Kingdom)
22 FELICIA – My System (Sweden)
23 Lion Ceccah – Sólo Quiero Más (Lithuania)
24 COSMÓ – Tanzschein (Austria)
25 LAVINA – Kraj Mene (Serbia)
Eurovision Song Contest 2026 – Second Semi Final Review
Thursday, May 14
Today it’s finally time for the second semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026!
Which countries will qualify for the Grand Final? Which songs could surprise Europe LIVE on stage? And which countries might see their Eurovision dream end tonight?
Let’s take a closer look at the studio versions and my expectations for the LIVE performances!
01 DARA – Bangaranga (Bulgaria)
OH YES! What an explosive opening for the second semi final! WOW!
This song instantly gives massive energy and makes you want to jump around. Is it original? Not really. But does it matter? Absolutely not.
This track is insanely radio friendly and could easily become one of the biggest Eurovision party songs of 2026.
I REALLY hope Bulgaria reaches the finals with this because for me this is absolutely Top 5 material!
02 JIVA – Just Go (Azerbaijan)
Most people know I worked with an Azerbaijan Eurovision entry many years ago, so I always pay extra attention to their songs.
Sometimes I doubt the quality of their recent entries, but this power ballad is genuinely impressive. Strong emotion, solid production, and very Eurovision-friendly.
Honestly, I wish I had worked with this team myself.
This should qualify for the finals without problems and could even become a Top 10 contender.
03 Alexandra Căpitănescu – Choke Me (Romania)
I know many people had strong opinions about the title and lyrics of this song.
But musically? WOW.
For me, this is a possible WINNER of Eurovision Song Contest 2026. The atmosphere is incredible, the vocals are outstanding, and the overall vibe feels fresh and powerful.
This song absolutely deserves to compete for the victory.
04 Eva Marija – Mother Nature (Luxembourg)
The competition in Luxembourg’s national selection was probably weaker than Eva’s vocals at the start of the song, because unfortunately she does sing out of tune at times.
BUT… sometimes an artist simply has something special that makes you want to support them anyway.
So yes, I really hope Eva Marija reaches the finals tonight — and hopefully the LIVE vocals will be much stronger!
05 Daniel Zizka – CROSSROADS (Czechia)
Not a bad song at all, but personally I find it a little too safe and boring.
Still, if Daniel delivers a strong LIVE performance, this could unexpectedly finish inside the Top 10 in the Grand Final.
06 SIMÓN – Paloma Rumba (Armenia)
When I first saw the title, I expected a happy Latin or reggaeton-style summer song.
Instead, Armenia surprised me completely!
This track has a unique atmosphere and a very interesting vibe. If the LIVE performance works well, Armenia should qualify for the finals for sure.
I really love this style.
07 Veronica Fusaro – Alice (Switzerland)
I honestly still don’t know what to think about this song.
It could become a huge success… or completely disappear during the show without making any impact at all.
I think Switzerland might still qualify for the finals, but I’m definitely not fully convinced yet.
08 Antigoni – JALLA (Cyprus)
My goodness… THIS is a summer hit!
Actually, this could become THE summer anthem of 2026.
The energy, the rhythm, the atmosphere… everything works here. For me, this is absolutely worthy of a Top 3 result in the Grand Final!
09 Atvara – Ēnā (Latvia)
She can definitely sing very well.
But unfortunately, this is exactly the kind of Eurovision song where people might suddenly decide to grab a drink, visit the toilet, or check their phone for a moment.
For me, it’s simply too sleepy and forgettable.
10 Søren Torpegaard Lund – Før Vi Går Hjem (Denmark)
A lot of people immediately recognize similarities between the intro of this song and another well-known track.
But honestly… is that really a problem? Not for me.
Because WOW, what an amazing song this is! Denmark absolutely delivers here.
This is easily Top 5 worthy in the Grand Final.
11 Delta Goodrem – Eclipse (Australia)
Sending a globally known artist should help Australia return to the finals, right?
The song itself is definitely strong. But the real question is: do Eurovision viewers still care enough about Australia to vote for them?
I’m honestly not sure if it will be enough for qualification.
Still, I personally LOVE this song.
12 LELÉKA – Ridnym (Ukraine)
The song itself is not bad at all, and the vocals are actually very solid.
But is it strong enough for the finals? Personally, I don’t think so.
Whether Ukraine qualifies probably depends more on public support for the country than on the song itself.
13 Alis – Nân (Albania)
I constantly have the feeling that I’ve heard parts of this song before somewhere else.
Still, if the LIVE vocals stay in tune during the semi final, Albania absolutely deserves a place in the finals.
For me, this could definitely become a Top 10 Eurovision entry.
14 AIDAN – Bella (Malta)
This is another song that sounds extremely familiar, almost like a cover version you’ve already heard many times before.
Even the music video gives that same feeling.
Still, the song itself is beautiful. The big question is whether the Eurovision audience will connect with it strongly enough.
15 JONAS LOVV – YA YA YA (Norway)
The official studio version already sounded fantastic, so I immediately checked a LIVE performance as well.
And honestly? YES!
The LIVE version sounds amazing too.
This gives me huge White Stripes vibes — probably one of the reasons why I love it so much.
For me, this is absolutely Top 3 worthy in the Grand Final. WOW!
Already Qualified Finalists
There are also a few countries already qualified for the Grand Final that will probably perform tonight as well.
COSMÓ – Tanzschein (Austria)
Sometimes you can hear when a country secretly does NOT want to host Eurovision next year… and this song feels like a perfect example of that.
It’s not a bad song at all, but for me this is definitely not Top 10 material.
Monroe – Regarde! (France)
Great song. Interesting style. Strong singer.
There’s a lot to appreciate here.
But is it enough for a Top 5 result? Personally, I don’t think so.
Don’t get me wrong — I really LOVE this track. I’m just not convinced that the wider Eurovision audience will connect with it strongly enough.
LOOK MUM NO COMPUTER – Eins, Zwei, Drei (United Kingdom)
Every single year I keep wondering why the United Kingdom still struggles so much at the Eurovision Song Contest.
It often feels like they simply send an entry because they HAVE to participate, not because they truly want to win Eurovision again.
But then… suddenly THIS happens.
This song is so weird, chaotic, and unexpected that it actually becomes incredibly cool. The energy is completely insane, the style is unique, and somehow it just works perfectly.
And yes… I genuinely LOVE this track. Can you believe it? Because honestly, I can’t either!
First Semi Final Review
Tuesday, May 12
Today it’s finally time for the first semi final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2026!
Which countries will qualify for the Grand Final? Which songs are underrated? And which performances could completely surprise us LIVE on stage?
LET’S GO!
01 Satoshi – Viva, Moldova! (Moldova)
The song starts very strong and instantly grabs your attention. Unfortunately, when the shouting begins, it slightly ruins the atmosphere created in the intro.
Still, this is definitely not a bad Eurovision song at all. It has strong 90s Euro-pop vibes, and that nostalgic energy could work very well with viewers.
If the LIVE performance is solid, Moldova should qualify for the finals without too many problems.

02 FELICIA – My System (Sweden)
It’s no secret that I personally believed A-Teens with *Iconic* would have been a stronger Eurovision entry for Sweden this year.
The big question here is: can FELICIA deliver this song LIVE? I honestly have my doubts.
Ironically, she sings “I AM A DISASTER” in the song, and hopefully that won’t become reality on stage. The studio version is an absolute club banger though, and production-wise it sounds very modern.
If Sweden nails the staging and vocals, this could still become a finalist.
—
03 LELEK – Andromeda (Croatia)
This gives me massive Adiemus vibes, which is a huge plus for me personally.
The biggest challenge will be recreating this atmosphere LIVE on stage. If Croatia succeeds, this could easily become one of the surprise hits of Eurovision 2026.
For me, this deserves a Top 10 position in the Grand Final.
—
04 Akylas – Ferto (Greece)
At first I thought: “Wait… did Gigi D’Agostino produce this?” Then I thought Gabry Ponte vibes. Either way, that already makes this song interesting.
This track has a strong Eurodance identity mixed with modern production, and honestly… this is completely my vibe.
For me, Greece has a guaranteed Top 10 Eurovision song this year.
—
05 Bandidos do Cante – Rosa (Portugal)
Personally, I find this song quite boring. However, that does NOT mean it’s a bad song.
In fact, I completely understand why Eurovision juries and viewers could appreciate this entry. Portugal often does well with emotional and artistic performances.
I expect this to qualify for the finals and possibly finish somewhere around the Top 15.
But if more viewers feel the same way I do, it could also end near the bottom of the scoreboard.
—
06 Bzikebi – On Replay (Georgia)
The opening of this song is surprisingly strong! It has clear Eurodance influences while still sounding modern and current.
The “la la la la la” section instantly reminded me of *Spice Up Your Life* by the Spice Girls.
Honestly? This is Top 10 material for me.
—
07 Linda Lampenius x Pete Parkkonen – Liekinheitin (Finland)
YES! Finland really delivers this year.
This is a strong Eurovision song with clear Top 10 potential in the Grand Final. One very important detail is that Linda Lampenius will perform the violin parts LIVE, which adds authenticity and impact.
This could become one of the most memorable performances of the semi final.
—
08 Tamara Živković – Nova Zora (Montenegro)
My first reaction was honestly: “No, this isn’t good.”
But the more you listen, the better it becomes. After a while, you realize this is actually a very strong track with real Eurovision potential.
Montenegro absolutely deserves a place in the finals with this song.
Its final ranking will depend heavily on public taste because this type of song can divide opinions quite a lot.
—
09 Vanilla Ninja – Too Epic To Be True (Estonia)
The studio version sounds fantastic.
However, I also watched the national final performance, and the LIVE vocals were not convincing at all.
If Estonia improves the vocals significantly, this is easily a Top 10 worthy Eurovision entry. But if the LIVE performance remains weak, qualification could become difficult.
—
10 Noam Bettan – Michelle (Israel)
The official version of this song is extremely strong.
It has everything needed to become a Top 3 contender at Eurovision 2026: emotional impact, strong production, and broad international appeal.
I also expect Israel to receive strong support from many countries during the voting.
—
11 ESSYLA – Dancing on the Ice (Belgium)
Honestly… Belgium REALLY deserves a place in the Grand Final with this song.
For me, this could even finish inside the Top 3 overall. WOW.
One of the strongest entries of the first semi final.
—
12 Lion Ceccah – Sólo Quiero Más (Lithuania)
This song simply doesn’t connect with me emotionally.
When thinking about international radio potential, I also don’t see this becoming a worldwide hit. I’m worried the LIVE performance could sound out of tune, and even if the vocals are good, the staging risks feeling too static and boring.
For me, this should not qualify for the finals.
—
13 SENHIT – Superstar (San Marino)
Everybody knows SENHIT by now, and this song feels incredibly Eurovision from start to finish.
I’m confident San Marino will qualify for the finals with this track. The big question is whether BOY GEORGE will also appear LIVE on stage.
If everything comes together, this could definitely become a Top 10 finalist on Saturday.
—
14 ALICJA – Pray (Poland)
The intro immediately gives me classic DJ BOBO vibes.
Then the chorus starts and the Eurodance feeling becomes even stronger. After that, the song suddenly changes direction again, making it a very unpredictable entry.
Honestly, I still don’t fully know what to think about it… but I LIKE IT.
I really hope Poland reaches the finals.
—
15 LAVINA – Kraj Mene (Serbia)
Most people know I enjoy rock and metal music, but this song simply doesn’t work for me.
It feels stuck somewhere between pop and metal without fully committing to either style. The overall direction feels confused.
Maybe they were aiming for a darker Marilyn Manson-inspired atmosphere, but for me it just misses the mark completely.
I really don’t think this deserves a place in the Eurovision Grand Final.
Coming Soon: TOTALLY EUROVISION 2026
